Bonney Prince Charles Gives Earth 100 Months to "Fix Global Warming " Even Though We Have Just Had the Coldest Winter in Decades

The Prince of Wales has warned that nations are "at a defining moment in the world's history" over climate change.

The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, told 200 business leaders in Rio de Janeiro that the world has 'less than 100 months' to save the planet.
He delivered his most impassioned and urgent plea yet on the need for the world to unite to tackle global warming. In a keynote speech in Brazil, the heir to the British throne delivered a stark warning that if nations fail to tackle deforestation and other problems over the next eight years then irreversible harm will be done to the environment.

Prince Charles told 200 business leaders in Rio de Janeiro that the world has “less than 100 months” to save the planet.
"As the world's economy heads further into recession, it would be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture; to commit the sin, as we say in England and if you will pardon the terrible pun, of 'not seeing the wood for the trees'. For we are, I fear, at a defining moment in the world's history.
"We are facing a series of challenges so immense that we can, perhaps, be forgiven for feeling they are all too forbidding to confront. "If we can redouble our efforts to unite the world in meeting perhaps its greatest and most critical challenge, then we may yet be able to prevail and thereby to avoid bequeathing a poisoned chalice to our children and grandchildren. But we only have 100 months to act."

..... Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrm , not really , Charles . .... It has actually been the coldest winter in decades , and frankly , scientists who do not have their funding at stake , realize and admit that the Sun's magnetic activities are responsible for "climate change" . By the way , Charles , did you know that the Vikings who discovered what we now call Greenland found it lush green and growing citrus ? That is why the Vikings named it Greenland , even though the whole blasted place is all white today , covered with ice and snow . It happens , Charles . Just deal with it .

Teddy advises Diana's ex-husband that he lacks the scientific mind , or evidence for any of his wrong-headed statements on "global warming ", and that he should stick to things for which he is more well-suited , such as art and bringing up fabulous boys .

Deceptively Named Durbin Bill

Late last week, the US Senate passed the inappropriately named "Broadcaster Freedom Amendment " by a vote of 87-11. And while the mainstream ( government approved, and approving ) media rushed to declare the Fairness Doctrine dead, they all but ignored the “Durbin Amendment” that essentially primes the pump for censoring speech through backdoor FCC regulations .

The Durbin amendment requires the FCC to “take actions to encourage and promote diversity in communication media ownership.” Yes, in other words , government interference is "needed" to regulate that . Regulate who may own , and you regulate content indirectly .

Upon closer look, this “stealth” attack on Free Speech Rights is far more insidious
than the Fairness Doctrine was because it empowers the government to censor and control the airwaves through backdoor policies that create a vast array of new avenues by which the FCC can silence expression that government do not approve . In other words, the Durbin amendment poses a much greater danger to our free speech rights because it expands the governmental control and censorship threat in ways we never before imagined . Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for 20 minutes

About That "Tax Cut "

Just some tax tips from Teddy ..... As so many are filing and preparing to file their 2008 taxes , think about not taking that Obamanomics $13 extra per week . My hot tip is this : Caution , Hot Tip : That "extra " you may take is to be counted as income this time next year , and since tax rates have not changed , you will be taxed for that little cash you are invited to take now . Just a little bit of info. that they wouldn't tell you , but Teddy shall . See your tax prepper about hanging back on your little "treat". Personally, for treats I will be sticking to my chicken jerky bites .

Bill Explained

Shortly after class, student Slomo approached his Economics professor , professor Grabbit, and said , "Professor , I don't understand this stimulus bill. Can you explain it to me?" The professor replied, "I don't have time right now, but if you come over to my house on Saturday and help me with my weekend project, I'll be glad to explain it to you." The student agreed.

At the agreed-upon time, student Slomo showed up at the professor's house. The professor stated that the weekend project involved his backyard pool. They both went out back to the pool, and Grabbit handed the student a bucket. Demonstrating with his own bucket, the professor said, "First, go over to the deep end, and fill your bucket with as much water as you can." The student did as he was instructed. Professor Grabbit then continued, "Now let's drain some of this water out of my pool , go next door to Sam's pool , and take some water from his pool and bring it here . Mine is chlorinated , and Sam's water is purified in that fabulous , new oxygenated , chemical-free method . Sam's is better water . We all deserve clean water to swim in . Let's get some of Sam's . You know - hope and change ."
Slomo shrugged , "Errrrrrm , ok " and did as asked . There was a "NO TRESPASSING . Private Property" sign on the neighbor's property , and professor Grabbit instructed that this did not matter , as chemical-free water was needed in his own pool . "Now follow me over to the shallow end of my pool , and then dump all the water from your bucket into it ", instructed the professor . Slomo was naturally confused, but did as he was told. The professor then explained that they were going to do this many more times , and began walking back to the deep end of the pool. Sam next door would need to pay to re-fill his own pool later , and would probably try to sue the professor later, for running up Sam's water bill . But since the professor knew the local Judges very well, and had helped campaign for the Judges on the local benches, Professor Grabbit could rely on the Judges to throw Sam's lawsuit out of court.

The confused student asked, "Excuse me, but why are we doing this?" The professor matter-of-factly stated that he was trying to make the shallow end much deeper, and the water much better . The student didn't think the economics professor was serious, but figured that he would find out the real story soon enough. However, after the 8th or 9th trip between the shallow end and the deep end, from Sam's pool to Grabbit's pool , the student became worried that his Economics professor had lost it. Slomo finally blurted out, "All we're doing is wasting valuable time and effort on an unproductive pursuit. Even worse, when this process is all over (and there's absolutely no way to know when that might be), everything will be exactly the same as before, so all we'll really have accomplished is the complete waste of both our time and our efforts which, if otherwise directed, might have had a chance of yielding a productive result! Not only that , but what about the questions of trespass and theft ?

The professor put down his bucket and replied with a smile, "Congratulations. You now understand the 2009 Stimulus Bill . "
